Mission timeline
Launch
ICUBE-QAMAR launched aboard Chang'e-6 on a Long March 5 from Wenchang Space Launch Center
Shared Chang’e-6 launch clock:17:27 China standard time, converted to UTC. APP’s conflicting14:18PST value is not adopted.
EarthDeployment
ICUBE-QAMAR successfully deployed in lunar orbit from Chang'e-6
Flight-team paper reports separation at 16:14 on 8 May 2024 near lunar apoapsis; the UTC clock assumes the paper's Chinese local clock follows Beijing time, as its tracking-arc table explicitly does. The time-zone interpretation is an inference.

Trajectory record
Trajectory dataset not yet available
Known dates and encounters do not uniquely determine a flight path. This mission’s sourced timeline is available above; no verified trajectory is currently published here.
What is needed to reconstruct this path?
- The orbit-determination paper reports the solved-orbit precision but does not publish dated state vectors or the underlying Doppler series.
- Its rounded perilune, eccentricity, inclination and period omit node, argument of periapsis, anomaly and a specified reference frame/epoch.
- The separation UTC conversion assumes the Beijing-time convention explicit in the paper's tracking table; the separation sentence itself does not repeat the time zone.
